Title: Welcome Home
Pairing/Character: Mark Antony/Lucius Vorenus
Summary: “I’ve sold myself to a tyrant.”
Disclaimer: HBO/BBC own Rome
Lucius knew that Mark Antony was going to make him pay, and not just the 1000 sestertius that he´d taken back from his original bribe to get Lucius to return. He´d make him pay because Mark Antony didn´t like to lose what he thought belonged to him. When Lucius had quit the Thirteenth and quit Antony´s bed he knew that Antony would want him back. He´d just thought that his escape plan was perfect. The money he´d saved, the slaves he´d bought in Gaul to sell on in Rome. But the deaths of those slaves had ruined him, and he had his family to think about.
Lucius shuddered as he could still feel Antony´s hand on the back of his neck, the press of his body against him, the burn of Antony´s kiss on his skin.
When he´d told Niobe,
I´ve sold myself to a tyrant.’
He hadn´t just meant his honour, his conscience and his sword arm, but his body and soul too.
Disclaimer:Characters (real and fictional) aren't mine, no money is made with these stories and history isn't changed. Damn.
